Resolution of 7th International Award for Contribution to Chinese Medicine—Achievement in Chinese Medicine Standardization

In order to reward the outstanding standard items that have great contribution in the international standardization activities on Chinese medicine, the 7thInternational Award for Contribution to Chinese Medicine—Achievement in Chinese Medicine Standardization has been launched for the first in 2022. According to the Incentive Scheme for the International Award for Contribution to Chinese Medicine, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) organized detailed award review process.
After recommendation, peer review, review by the Board of Council of WFCMS and notification, five groups are decided to be awarded the 7th International Award for Contribution to Chinese Medicine—Achievement in Chinese Medicine Standardization as follows: Wu Wanying and her team who developed EP 9.3 01/2018: 2729 Uncaria stem with hooks, Guo Yi and his team who developed GB/T 33415-2016 Handling methods for acupuncture abnormal conditions, Liao Liping and his team who developed ISO 20334:2018 Traditional Chinese medicine-Coding system of formulae, Li Jiansheng and his team who developed SCM 42-2019 International Clinical Practice Guideline of Chinese Medicine - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Zhou Huilin who developed ISO 22894:2020 Traditional Chinese medicine-Pulse waveform format.
Looking forward the laureates and their teams to making persistent effort with pioneering spirit and creative innovation, to make greater contributions to the high- qualitied development of international standardization on Chinese medicine and the improvement of the health of all human beings!
