The 11th World Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine

On October 1-2, 2014 in St. Petersburg will take place the XI World Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Congress is realized under the aegis of WFCMS. The organizer acting as the host is «Li West» Corporation Ltd.

The World Congress of TCM organized by World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) is a global scientific event in the TCM sphere. For the10 years this event has been taking place in different countries of the world such as China, France, Canada, Singapore, Macao, the Netherlands, England, Malaysia, USA and Australia. Russia organizes such forum for the first time. Actuality of this event is caused by increased interest to the questions of integration of the Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the roof of this lies an objective world tendency to assimilate knowledge and achievements of different medico-biological world systems, particularly, Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has the most innovative potential and possibilities in this sphere.

The theme of the XI World Congress is: «Integration of the East and the West medical systems – strategy of future medicine».

Within the frame of the declared theme there will be examined such questions as interplay and more closed integration of different medical systems. For the participants’ attention are represented the most effective approaches with the use of methods and instruments of Chinese medicine in the fields of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients, having different diseases. In particular, there will be examined the outstanding achievements in treatment of locomotive system’s pathology, diseases of cardiovascular and endocrine systems, diseases of gastrointestinal tract, neurological, dermal and other diseases.


In the Congress will take part the representatives of World Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors and also the representatives of scientific and medical community from different countries of the World, leaders of medical institutes, rectors and professors of medical educational institutions, medical workers and persons, interested in professional growth and in the use of new developments in medical practice
